SELECT BY PRODUCTION NEED

What does your cutting
process need to do?

Choose the task you need to complete. Then review the equipment and details that matter for your application.

01

Cut rolls into sheets

SELECT BY PRODUCTION NEED

Turn continuous material into pieces of a specified length. Define the feeding and sheet-cutting process around your material.

Specify roll width, thickness, cut length and collection requirements.

02

Slit a roll and cut it to length

SELECT BY PRODUCTION NEED

Start with combined slitting and cross-cutting when both strip width and cut length need to be defined.

Specify roll width, thickness, finished dimensions, tension and collection needs.

03

Kiss-cut while keeping the liner intact

SELECT BY PRODUCTION NEED

Explore kiss cutting for double-sided tape, self-adhesive labels, EVA foam and silicone pads.

Provide the layer construction, individual thicknesses and a sample to define cut depth and liner requirements.

04

Match the tape-cutting process to the material

SELECT BY PRODUCTION NEED

Compare cold, hot and ultrasonic cutting against your webbing material and required edge finish.

Specify tape width, thickness, stretch, cut length and whether edge sealing is required.

05

Align each cut to a printed registration mark

SELECT BY PRODUCTION NEED

Photoelectric registration identifies marks for feeding and cutting printed, woven and care labels.

Share a complete label sample, mark position, repeat length and intended cutting line.

Cut tubing to length

SELECT BY PRODUCTION NEED

Review feeding and cutting options for flexible tubing and sleeves.

Specify the material, diameter, wall thickness, cut length and required edge finish.

Custom configuration: eight details to review
01Process
Cut-to-length, slitting and cross-cutting, kiss cutting, hot or ultrasonic cutting.
02Equipment function
Define the unwinding, feeding, registration, cutting, sealing and collection tasks.
03Equipment combination
A standalone cutter or a setup with roll support, conveying and output handling.
04Material type
Material, construction, stretch, surface and adhesive backing.
05Processing capacity
Thickness, feed width, finished dimensions, tolerance and target output.
06Downstream process
How the cut parts will be used and collected, and the next production step.
07Industry & application
Finished-part use and any industry requirements for edges, cleanliness or traceability.
08Configuration & control
Power, compressed air, operating language, registration and line interfaces.

These are requirements to review. Available functions and capacity must be confirmed for the machine and material.

YOUR PRODUCTION GOALS

What would you
like to improve?

Tell us where your current process falls short so the equipment discussion starts with a clear goal.

01

More consistent dimensions

Define the finished size and acceptable variation, then review feeding and length control for your material.

02

Less repetitive handling

Identify the manual feeding, measuring, cutting or collection tasks you would like to automate.

03

Less scrap and rework

Show us where waste occurs, such as slipping material, incorrect lengths or unsuitable edge finish.

04

A better fit for the next operation

Explain how the cut parts will be collected, assembled, bonded or packed so those requirements inform equipment selection.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Before you request
a configuration.

Define material, finished-part and delivery requirements before selecting the final configuration.

Discuss your application ↗
01What information is needed for a custom machine?

Share the material name, sample photos or drawings, thickness and width, finished dimensions, edge requirements and target output. Leave unknown details blank.

02What if I do not know which process to use?

Start with the actual material and desired result. Describe full or kiss cuts, registration to printed marks and any edge-sealing requirements, then discuss the equipment.

03Can a machine be configured around my existing line?

Provide the existing layout, input and output handling, operating height and control-interface requirements. Compatibility and required changes need review against your site information.

04How are working dimensions and output confirmed?

Start with the published specification for the selected model, then review material construction, thickness, cut dimensions and tolerance. Output should be confirmed for the actual material.

05How do I confirm certificates and delivery documents?

Include the destination, required certification, manual language and drawings in your enquiry. Confirm applicable records and available documents against the final model and configuration.

06Can I start with a sample or a drawing?

Begin by emailing material photos, part drawings and processing requirements. Before sending physical samples or arranging cutting trials, agree the material quantity, trial scope and acceptance criteria.
